Our Admissions Coordinators are experienced mental health professionals and are available to discuss your particular needs and give advice regarding treatment options. You can contact a coordinator at The Hollywood Clinic seven days a week at any time on 9346 6850.

As The Hollywood Clinic is a voluntary facility, an Admissions Coordinator will need to speak to each patient prior to admission as sometimes exclusion criteria can apply. Your health insurance status will also be checked, and you will be advised as to any out of pocket expenses. If you don’t have health insurance, you’ll be advised of costs accordingly. All admissions must be supported by a referral from your GP or psychiatrist. Once you have been given a date for admission to The Hollywood Clinic, it is important you read our Privacy Policy.

What to Wear

During the day, you’ll feel most comfortable in casual clothes. For the evenings, you’ll need night attire, toiletries and other personal items for your stay. As a safety measure, covered shoes need to be worn at all times. If you are planning to go for walks around the area, we recommend you bring suitable footwear and clothing.

What to Bring

You might want to bring along books or other reading materials. Some people also like to bring a personal stereo, radio or iPod with headphones (all rooms have a TV). Whatever you bring along to The Hollywood Clinic, please ensure it is named and labelled.

Please also bring along any medication you’ve being prescribed and are currently taking.

We recommend you leave anything valuable at home such as large amounts of cash, jewellery or expensive appliances.
