The admission coordinators are experienced mental health clinicians who are available to discuss your particular needs and can advise you of the treatment options available. They can be contacted on (08) 9346 6850 seven days a week.
As The Hollywood Clinic is a voluntary facility, it is necessary for the admissions staff to speak to each patient prior to being admitted into The Hollywood Clinic as certain exclusion criteria may apply. They will also be able to check your health insurance and advise you of any out of pocket expenses. If you do not have health insurance they will be able to advise you of the cost.
All admissions must be supported by a referral from your GP or psychiatrist.
You will feel most comfortable wearing casual clothing around The Hollywood Clinic during the day and you will also require night attire, toiletries and other personal items. For safety purposes, covered shoes must be worn at all times and, if planning to go for walks it is recommended that suitable footwear and clothing be worn.
It is recommended that you do not bring any valuables such as large amounts of money, jewellery or expensive appliances to The Hollywood Clinic.
You might however, like to bring a personal stereo, radio or i-pod with headphones. Please clearly label your belongings. Each room is fitted with a television for your personal viewing.
We recommend that you bring with you any medications that you are currently being prescribed and taking.
